Recently, major projects in Qingshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province were launched in the first quarter of 2023, including 11 major projects, including 200000 t/a electrolyte, EOD device transformation and the new project of using carbon dioxide to produce new energy battery materials, with a total investment of about 6.53 billion yuan.

According to the "beautiful Qingshan" news, recently, major projects in Qingshan District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province were launched in the first quarter of 2023, including 11 major projects, including 200000 t/a electrolyte, EOD device transformation and the new project of using carbon dioxide to produce new energy battery materials, with a total investment of about 6.53 billion yuan.
In the field of new energy and new materials, the 200000 t/a electrolyte project of Shenghua new energy technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. plans to build electrolyte production workshops, barrel washing workshops, electrolyte warehouses and supporting raw materials, product tank farms, loading and unloading stations, etc., with a total investment of 700million yuan. Its electrolyte is used in electric vehicles, energy storage, aerospace and other fields. The project is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2023 and put into operation by the end of 2023, with an output value of 10billion yuan.
Wuhan oak Chemical Co., Ltd.'s EOD unit transformation and new carbon dioxide production project for new energy battery materials plan to use carbon dioxide to produce 100000 tons/year of ethylene carbonate (EC) products. The downstream supporting DMC and EMC projects of the new EC project will add 60000 tons/year of dimethyl carbonate (DMC) products and 30000 tons/year of ethylene carbonate (EMC) products on the basis of Wuhan phase II reconstruction and construction of EC project, with a total investment of 540million yuan, After the project is put into operation, it will promote the development of deep processing industry of new energy products such as lithium battery electrolyte solvent in Central China, with good economic and social benefits.
